Here in our Aladina shop you will find high-quality wool felts in three different thicknesses.
We call them Simplia, Duplia and Triplia.
Our wool felt consists of 90% wool and 10% polyester
Due to the small polyester content, the felt becomes particularly stable, retains its shape and does not bulge. It also enhances the material and makes your sewn unique pieces particularly durable and handsome.
The Aladina wool felt is warm, lightweight and waterproof. It is particularly environmentally friendly because it is made of pure sheep's wool and synthetic reycling material. It is produced in Europe and complies with all our current EU regulations.
Many of you keep asking if you can wash the wool felt. Wool felt has a wonderful other property - it really hardly dirts. We have had a kindergarten bag in daily use for many months - it still looks great! Even my pink phone case doesn't scream for a wash after a year. But just test yourself and get an idea ;o)
We offer the wool felts here in pieces of 75 cm x 50 cm. From the strength Duplia they arrive rolled in the box with you.
And now to our strengths:
Our *Simplia* (1 and 1.5 mm) is best used for book covers and booklet covers. But it is also great for bags if you want to feed them. It is light and thin and therefore perfect if you have to turn your sewn bag after completion. We like to make small figures out of it with the children. Simply sew the front and back together on an open edge and fill them with filling wadding. If children can already handle a needle, small animals are very easily sewn together with a thick thread
Our *Duplia* is slightly thicker, so between 2.5 mm and 3 mm. It can be embroidered well and you can best sew keychains, small unlined bags, cases and mobile phone cases from it. This is what your normal simple household sewing machine can do.
Our thickest wool felt is the *Triplia*. You can also do it well with the sewing machine. Due to its thickness, it is great for table coasters, bags or folders.
The dotted wool felt *Punto* is only a little thinner than the Duplia. It has a very soft inside because the dots were subsequently ennobled with a fleece. That's why it protects your phone or glasses particularly well.

Our felt consists of 90% wool and 10% polyester. This mixture makes our felt particularly stable, long lasting and it reduces wrinkling. Your unique designs will stay as pretty as on the very first day!
Our felt is warm, lightweight and waterproof. Another plus is the environment-friendly making out of sheep wool and synthetical recycling material. It is produced in Europe and fulfills all regular EU-standards.
Many of you want to know if you can wash our felt. The good news: felt hardly needs to be washed! As a natural product felt is dirt-repellent. Our bags have been used for many years and still havn ́t seen a washing machine! But if you really want you can wash the material 30 degrees wool wash. Please use special wool washing liquid and don ́t spin-dry.
We offer our felt in pieces of 75 cm x 50 cm, this equals 19,7 x 22,4 inches. Or we cut directly from the roll, which usually is 1,50 m (59 inches) long. You can have from half a meter up to many meters. Our Duplia or Triplia, the thicker felts, will always be delivered in a roll to prevent buckles. If you want more than one meter in one piece, we have to ask for extra shipping costs.
Talking about buckles: in case your felt has buckles, you can remove them by ironing with steam. If the felt hair stands up, use baking paper between felt and flat iron.
Our three different sizes:
Simplia is between 1 mm and 1.5 mm thick.
Perfect for book wrappers, little bags such as wallets for mobile phones, for bags with a lining and for all things that need to be turned over after sewing.
Duplia
is between 2,5 mm and 3 mm. It is beautiful for embroidery, all kinds of stable bags, key fobs etc. Your normal sewing machine will handle it without any problems!
Our thickest felt is the Triplia, between 3,5 mm and 4 mm thick.
You will also be able to sew the Triplia with a normal machine. Triplia is great for place mats,seat pads, stable bags or folders.
Our dotted felt, we call him Punto, is slightly thinner than the Duplia. It has a very soft inner side, perfect for spectacle cases or mobile phone socks.
The striped GRADIA is similar to the Duplia.

Shipping
Shipping within Germany:
The shipping costs are a flat rate of 4.80 EUR per package up to a maximum of 31 kg.
Delivery time within Germany:
We ship immediately after receipt of money. The duration of a package depends on the capacity of the selected transport company (usually DHL)
and is not within the sphere of influence of Aladina.de.
If, as an exception, an item is not in stock or not immediately available and the delivery time is extended accordingly,
