My name's Lynae Straw and I'm a 22-year-old artisan/craftsperson living in San Francisco, CA.

My aesthetic is one of simple, natural elegance. Although I'm an urbanite I'm mostly inspired by nature. Through Panopoly Creations I enjoy creating and selling handmade items that celebrate the natural world, either by form, function, or color.

I handbuild all of my work using stoneware clay and glazes. I do not use a potter's wheel. I use an electric kiln to fire all my ware, firing at temperatures in excess of 2000 degrees Farenheit.

All of the glazes I use for food-related items are foodsafe. Some of the glazes used on my beads and decorative items may not be foodsafe, but if they aren't, I will say so in their listings.

Although I am not a vegan, my ceramic items are vegan-friendly. To the best of my knowledge (and I've done a lot of research) none of my clay or glazes contain animal products.

My ceramics are generally very strong and durable. However, to ensure a minimum of wear, I would recommend treating them somewhat gently. Don't use bleach or abrasives when cleaning them, and don't expose them to extreme temperature changes (i.e. a hot oven to a cold freezer). Other than that, you should be good to go.

My rings are also quite strong but under the right circumstances they WILL break! Try not to drop them or bang your hands on things while wearing them. If you treat these rings as the unique works of art they're intended to be, they should last you for years to come.
