Über mich
In this world of machine-manufactured stuff, it's wonderful to know that there is a subculture of people who make things by hand. Beautiful, wearable, usable things. I'm proud to be a tiny dot on that ever-growing map.
I make earrings. I make other things, too - I'm a knitaholic with a latent polymer clay addiction - but earrings made out of big, fat, cute beads are my thing. Branching out has been on my mind a lot lately. We just got a new electric drill - hooray for power tools - and I think I'm going to be doing some metalwork with that. My first degree is in graphic design, as well, and I've been itching to get back into doing layouts and such.
