Über mich
Meine Liebe zu ausgefallenen Stoffen und Mustern bestand immer schon, was sich mittlerweile auch in meiner recht großen Auswahl an Produkten zeigt. Mit dem Nähen habe ich vor 8 Jahren begonnen und zunächst Muffs (in Erinnerung an meine Oma) hergestellt, deren Form und Funktionalität ich mit den Jahren immer weiter verbessert habe. Die Accessoires von csehBerlin sind ausschließlich handgearbeitete Unikate, gestaltet aus ausgewählten, hochwertigen Dekostoffen in Kombination mit traditioneller, handwerklich solider Verarbeitung, anspruchsvoller Detaillierung und ausgesuchten Applikationen.
Seit Juni 2007 arbeite ich in meinem Atelier in der Goethestr. 2-3, 10623 Berlin-Charlottenburg 1. OG – Raum 251. Das Atelier befindet sich im Alten Kaiserlichen Postamt in der I. Etage, in dem auch das Kunsthandwerk "Ideenreich- Berlin" mit schönen ausgefallenen Sachen vertreten ist.

I started manufacturing accessories in earnest at around 2000 - initially redesigning and developing muffs (a covering for the hands preferably from furry material - reminiscence of my granny) while gradually improvising on material and functional variations over the years. To channel the extensive concepts and ideas which consecutively sprang up from working with various materials and their ever more fascinating capabilities this soon emerged in experimenting in the design of hand, shoulder, wash, tote and messenger bags, clutches, purses and satchels. I finally ended up with a vast array of accessories which included belts, bracelets, caps, hats or hand embroidered silk sashes.
All csehBerlin accessories are exclusively handmade unique copy products crafted from carefully selected quality dress and furnishing fabrics combined with solid and diligent craftsmanship, an exacting detailing and selected applications.
In an ever more uniform global selection of the ubiquitous identical, I try to give my accessories that somehow distinctive hand made character and touch (because that is how they are made). Far from the mere manufacture I have always sought to vary, improve, diversify and enhance so that there has been up till now a constant evolution in designs. Because in essence that is what has always been appealing to me in working with fabric and material.
In 2007 I decided to work out of the house and set up an own workshop cum showroom which is located in the former Imperial Post Office turned studio/workshop/gallery-venue in the old Western part of the city between Steinplatz and Savignyplatz in Berlin-Charlottenburg at Goethestrasse 2-3, 10623 Berlin, 1st Floor, Room 251.
