I have always been creative, coming from a 'crafty' family (my mum makes the most amazing things with sugar paste!). In the past I've dabbled with just about everything.. including glass painting and candle-making. I first made earrings in my teens (a LONG time ago!), and about 3 years ago took it up again making semi-precious and crystal jewellery for gift and bridal shops.
Then just over a year ago I discovered wire, and I'm hooked! I love playing with wire, finding new ways to use it, and recently learned soldering which gives me even more creative freedom. I'm inspired by nature, and also by the gorgeous colours and sparkle of the gemstones I find!
All my jewellery items include a burgundy and cream 'Amari' gift box, and tucked away underneath is an anti-tarnish tab to help keep your silver shiny for longer!
