KinderKlipz came to mind about 5 yrs ago after my husband, new born baby and I relocated overseas from Canada to Australia. I had been a successful HR manager for over 7 years until we relocated. Our relocation, new baby and new life gave me an opportunity to really look inside to try and define what it was that made me click. I looked at other career opportunities for when I was ready to go back to work but none of them really made my heart jump. The only thing that really made me truly happy and completely comfortable was when I was being creative and artistic.
Ever since I was a child, I always knew that I had a creative flair. Having a father who was a filmmaker, a mother who was fashionable with a knack for making any place a cozy place and a brother who could simply look at something and see it’s artistic qualities, probably lent a hand into where my creative being began. And, I shouldn’t forget other family members such as aunts, uncles and of course my incredible Grandmother, all of who seem to ooze ingenuity, imagination and originality.
My desire to start my own business started very early. I began selling my handmade items at craft fairs back when I was only 14 yrs old. I would sell home made flavored vinegars, bath oils, wreaths, bees wax candles and hair clips made from dried fruit. Over the years I continued to attend those craft fairs until I began college where my studies were a priority. I restarted dabbling back into crafts when we moved to Australia where I was first introduced to scrapbooking. A wonderfully expensive hobby, as I soon discovered that I spent more on art supplies than anything else. The energy I revived when I began scrapbooking made me realize that that is where my passion lay and I need to revisit it again. After only 2 yrs in Australia and having my 2nd child, we were on the move again! This time to Holland.
I take a lot of pride in my work ethic and dedication to my customers. My goal is to provide people with products that are both practical and cute. I sincerely hope you enjoy your shopping experience with KinderKlipz and I look forward to hearing from you with any comments or feedback you may have.
