Über mich
If you are reading this, I assume you want to learn a little bit about the face behind Abbey Lane, so here it goes!
My beautiful daughter was born in 2007 and for the past 9 months I have been on maternity leave taking care of her. Around the 7 month mark, her tiny head started sprouting wisps of blond hair! I searched high and low and could not find clips that were funky & chic and not covered in pastel colors.
All my clips were made with my baby girl in mind - finding cool and modern materials that you wouldn't normally see anywhere else. People started commenting and asking where they could get them and so little by little my clips were finding their way into babies hair everywhere ;)
I soon extended my love affair to other fabrics - local and imports. I have now directed my obsession by designing bibs, pinafores, blankets, etc under the Abbey Lane name.
