Vidrio 10.07.2007 14:07How many Americans are here? I just found out about this site today and didn't know it wasn't an American site till after I registered.
Glassprimitif 01.10.2007 19:31I'm not one but I have seen quite a few US people from Etsy.
beadgaldesigns 01.10.2007 19:41American here. I knew the site was not USA based b/c I first found the site before they offered multiple languages :) Now that there's english, I can use the site without showing off how bad my german is!

SharaLambethDesigns 02.10.2007 01:28I'm not American (I'm Australian :-), But I have seen quite a few sellers that are based in America selling on here. Lots of familiar faces from etsy, mintd etc.
:-)
glamasaurus 02.10.2007 20:11I'm American but I don't live there.
pulpsushi 02.10.2007 23:11I'm American. Hi! :)
brandybrookdesigns 03.10.2007 04:31I'm American too ~ it's hard to tell until you go to people's profiles. I'm always amazed at how fluent people are in more than one language. I barely got through my German Regents in high school!

Birdlandcreations 03.10.2007 07:38I live in America - but am British! I think there are quite a few Americans as sellers.
Fabletoo 04.10.2007 04:31I'm British and live in Thailand - Dawanda is open to everyone although I do like that there are more Europeans here than other places :-)
crochetaccessory 04.10.2007 21:12so you have to post items prices in Euro? do we Americans get paid in Euro, how does it work?
Paintgranny 05.10.2007 21:29Yes - we Europeans face this when posting stuff on Etsy, as it is all in US dollars. If you are using Paypal then it will do the conversion for you, no need for you to do anything except work out how much you are charging - so if you charge say, ten dollars for an item, at present the exchange rate turns that into roughly 7 Euros.
I use this both here and on Etsy as I like to quote UK prices too.
elizabeth 08.10.2007 12:11crochetaccessory - all listings on DaWanda are in EURO. you might like to mention the dollar price for your item in the product description of your listing, for any US customers. If you're using Paypal, you dont need to worry about converting your paymens, as Paintgranny helpfully pointed out!
rbart 11.11.2007 17:12I just arrived --- Giving DaWanda a try.
I am still having a hard time figuring out things, but I am persistent.
ThePaperDoll 15.11.2007 07:59Welcome Rbart! Persistence is a virtue ;-)
