MadeInAmsterdam 26.06.2009 14:02I'm also on Etsy and Dawanda. I was interested in Dawanda as its European based (I'm living in Amsterdam).
Despite that there are a lot of German and French language sellers, I wonder if I'm missing out on sales because I'm only able to sell in English.
I would be interested to know if anyone after translating their item descriptions from English, has experienced an increase in sales?
In the meantime, I'm going to give it a shot and keep my fingers crossed for my first sale!
suziechaney 30.06.2009 10:56I came here from etsy, and I list in english and french. I did try tags and titles in german, but I took them off as I had communication problems with a german buyer who only spoke german. I would be wary of writing in a language I can't speak now.

first i was selling more on etsy, butt now only herre on dawanda!
someone has the same or another experience.would lke to know your opinions

Just pulled all of my items of Etsy and put them on here. Getting a great number of hits on the items but nits do not make sales.
Had at least one from Etsy and another off Etsy for one item I had up there and the person did not want to create an account to get that particular item. Also sold 2 of them off Etsy to that same person and she is well pleased with her purchase.
Don't know if things are going to be any better here but at least one thing about here is the fact that I can put my items up on Facebook without having to figure out how to myself and that saves me time and effort.

Lightwear 26.02.2010 19:47I had a few sales on etsy, but Dawanda is much better. I am wondering if it is because I live in germany and the postage is cheaper and quicker if that has anything to do with sales, although saying that, I buy what I like and am prepared to wait for it !! Lol !!

On dawanda the things are not really good...(maybe i'have just to wait...IF SOMEONE HAVE A DOOD IDEA TO BE MORE WIESABLE ON DAWANDA

One customer wanted buy one item from me, she waited so long,
I really sorry to her.
