elizabeth 23.01.2009 16:04You are invited to take part in a competition to Design a DaWanda t shirt!
Your brief:
To create a t-shirt design that embraces the whole DaWanda community: buyers, sellers, DaWanda lovers, for the DaWanda merchandise shop, for those who come to check us out - including journalists and other members of the press (DaWanda gets ALOT of press in Germany http://de.dawanda.com/press/); for special occasions and DaWanda events and meet-ups. The aim of the design is to create new and old fans for DaWanda!
Some guidelines:
* The design should be so awesome you want to wear it every day because you get so many compliments :)
* The name "DaWanda" and/or the DaWanda logo must be included in the design - left click on this link to download the logo in different sizes here - http://blog.dawanda.com/dawanda_logo.zip
* please use less than 4 colours in your design, and think especially about colours that will really pop on a screen printed t shirt! the design will be specially screenprinted onto t-shirts
* please submit a design graphic that is fully prepared for printing! however if you don't have enough experience to create a graphic, you can still get in touch with us to outline your idea!
* you will be credited and linked to if we sell the t shirt from the DaWanda merchandise shop [http://de.dawanda.com/shop/dawanda-merchandise]
* when you submit your design you allow us the full copyright right
* you can submit as many ideas as you like!
WHAT CAN YOU WIN???!!!
We may choose as many winners as we like from the entries submitted. We are only looking for one winning design, but it could happen that we can't decide between 2 or 3. Or even none, if there are no suitable designs (which we are sure is not going to happen!)
* if your design is picked as a winner (Yay!!!!) you will receive a €75 Euro DaWanda voucher plus 10 t-shirts with your design screenrprint emblazoned on them! PLUS your DaWanda shop will be featured on the homepage and in our newsletter as an exceptional talent and must stop shop! [*please note the prize for members on the German platform is different and the prizes detailed above will be awarded to members of the English platform only]
* we will also choose a random selection of 15 winners who take part to win €10 DaWanda vouchers
HOW AND WHEN SHOULD YOU APPLY???!!!
* the competition is running until end of February 2009. That means 28th February!
* please submit your proposals to christiane@dawanda.com OR by snail mail to: DaWanda GMBH, ATTN: Christiane, Linienstr.139-140, 10115 Berlin.
* all of the entries will be published on DaWanda when the competition is over. this includes the winner - you agree upon submission to allow us to publish your design and your name.
last of all HAVE FUN brainstorming, we're already super excited to see what you come up with!

lilyhandmade - your design should be submitted as the artwork, not printed on the t shirt.
