Making candles is my passion. It all started very small. I wanted to make my first own Advent wreath particularly beautiful and stood disappointed in front of the many shelves with industrially manufactured candles. Somehow everything looked the same. My family, friends and colleagues diligently collected wax residues for me. My first test casting went totally wrong. About 1 liter of wax spread throughout my kitchen. I thought to myself: this must be better! I bought wicks, colors, shapes and a lot of expertise, tried out a lot and the craft did not let go of me. Since 2010 I am now a self-employed candle maker, have my own small workshop. Meanwhile, I make my candles, which are all without fragrance, completely from recycled wax. I succeed in this together with the people I get to know through my work. Together we collect candle wax, which is actually no longer useful. I recycle the wax professionally and then create new, handmade candles.
