INSTRUCTIONS FOR A CROCHETED MOHAIR WIG CAN BE FOUND IN THE SHOP
This fluffy soft mohair yarn (92% mohair, 8% silk) is particularly suitable for cuddly doll hair, for dolls in Waldorf style or other rag dolls.
You can crochet a cap from it and then tie the hair (instructions for 3 € surcharge in the shop), for short hair you do not tie in any additional strands, because the mohair itself already gives a beautiful hairstyle.Of course, you can also sew it directly on the doll's head.
For the production of dolls in Waldorf style, I recommend the great book "The Waldorf Doll" by Karin Neuschütz, which also describes many instructions for doll hairstyles. The book is available in my shop.
Barrel length is 87 m/50g.
I dyed the yarn with madder roots, walnut shells, onion skins, chestnut leaves, St. John's wort, indigo, cochineal and birch leaves, as stain I used alum salt.
This results in natural doll hair, good for the earth and our children.
PLEASE NOTE: Since plant dyeing is a natural dye, the colors may differ slightly from the image due to natural variations during dyeing. However, I try to recolor the colors as similar as possible. Please order enough yarn for your project, as I do not take new photos with every dyeing.
It can also happen that a color is not in stock and must first be dyed. Then I can offer you a small waiting time or an alternative color.
IMPORTANT NOTE, READ BEFORE YOU ORDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For certain colors, I dye together with the dye material in so-called contact dyeing. Remnants of the dye material can remain in the wool, but they fall out during crochet or can be easily brushed out. This does not represent a reduction in quality!
In addition, mohair can lint, but both can be brushed out easily!
I do not see that some order this wool and then complain in the evaluation, there would be dye residues in it. Just read the description and stay away from it if you DON'T want that!!
Of course you can also crochet or knit other beautiful things from it...
