Carry a bag that's bound to cause laughter - and we hope some serious thinking too. Exceptionally well printed (we set up each one and do much colour and image adjustment for a fabulous final result) on strong smooth canvas. The image is based in part on photos from an amazing old Viennese Patisserie book - and yes, those ARE marzipan frogs! Sides and backs are dupion 100% silk inferfaced to give structure and strength. There's a top zip fastening and the bags are fully lined with one internal pocket. These bags now have the most gorgeous handwoven (no, really, and it's done here in Czech) handles. These use a very old technique which is now rarely found. The result is a strap that is soft, but thick and strong. These are very special and look and feel gorgeous - folky, funky, silky and very sensual to the touch. Finished wtih a sprinkling of fine Czech glass beads on the picture and high-quality metallic braiding to "frame" it. Please note! The bags are NOT large tote-sized. They are about 7.25 inches by 9 inches. A nice practical handbag-size for purse, phone, comb and so on. _________ I put this particular bag on my blog - and it sold immediately. We can also do some in black silk (we have both a pitch black and a "blue/black" softer black. Please email for information or to order any particular colour.

We expect payment within one day of purchase, unless you agree with us in advance. Regretfully, we will cancel orders that have not been paid after three days.
We don't use courier services such as DHL as they tend to be far too expensive for international orders. For the same reason, we don't usually ask you to pay for insurance for parcels, we find that sending them registered is usually enough to ensure their safe arrival. From the time we send, parcels generally take a week to ten days to most European addresses (though for some reason certain countries can be slower than this), between one and four weeks to the USA (Fortunately four weeks is rare! But it can happen if customs stop the parcel) and three to four weeks to Australasia. We'll always do everything we can to make sure that you get your order in good time.
