DaWanda OAuth API Introduction
The DaWanda OAuth API provides additional interfaces for revealing a user's personal data, e.g. name, email address, gender or order items. Due to more complex security issues, you are required to register your OAuth application here. After completing the registration process, you will get access to the following application specific data:
- Consumer Key
- Consumer Secret
- Request Token URL
- Access Token URL
- Authorize URL
You can find an introduction to OAuth here.
Basically, you use the consumer key and the consumer secret to obtain a so-called request token. That token is used to direct the application's user to DaWanda, where he can grant access to his personal data. Once the user has given his acceptance, DaWanda will redirect him to the application, with some additional parameters. This data is necessary to gain a secret token, with which it is finally possible to actually read the user's data.
